Art Course for Teenagers

Our Art Course for teenagers is designed to develop both creativity and technical skill in a supportive, structured environment. The program runs for 28 hours in total, with 2-hour sessions once a week over 4 months. All materials are provided, so students only need to arrive ready to learn.

Learning Approach

The course follows a structured lesson plan that gradually builds knowledge and ability. Students explore a variety of artistic styles, mediums, and techniques, ranging from traditional drawing and painting to mixed media approaches. The emphasis is on building strong foundations in observation, composition, colour, tone, and texture, while also encouraging experimentation and self-expression.

Skills and Development

Teenagers will work on a broad range of projects, including still life, landscapes, portrait studies, and creative assignments inspired by both historical and contemporary artists. For those studying GCSE & A-level Art, this course provides valuable support in developing ideas, refining skills, and producing work suitable for coursework portfolios.

Exhibitions and Presentation

An important part of the program is helping students understand how to present and showcase their work. Throughout the course, students are encouraged to reflect on their artistic journey and prepare pieces for studio exhibitions, giving them the experience of displaying their art in a professional setting.

Course Details

The Teenagers’ Art Course runs for 28 hours across 4 months, with a fee of £490. All materials are included.
Private sessions are also available for more focused learning: 1 hour – £100, 2 hours – £150.

This course not only strengthens artistic skills but also builds confidence, discipline, and creative independence—valuable qualities for both academic study and personal growth.
