We invest so much in our children’s education—why not invest in yourself as well? If you’ve always wanted to learn how to draw or paint, now is the perfect time to begin. At Kent Talents Art Studio, you will discover how to draw realistically, paint with oils or acrylics, and explore subjects such as portraits, animals, still life, and much more.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or someone wishing to refresh and refine your skills, our classes are designed with you in mind. The groups are small, creating a supportive environment where you can gain confidence while receiving individual attention. All supplies are provided, and we even look after your unfinished work so you can simply arrive ready to learn. Beginners usually find that three to five sessions are enough to build a solid foundation, from which they can continue to develop their skills independently.
Students may book sessions on any available day, choosing the pace and frequency that best suits their needs. The lessons focus on strengthening drawing and painting skills through observational still life work. Under the guidance of artist Lana Arkhi, each student receives personal instruction tailored to their level, ensuring steady progress in a relaxed and encouraging studio atmosphere.
During the classes, students have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of media, including pencil, charcoal, pastel, paint, collage, and mixed media. The emphasis is on mastering the essential skills of drawing and painting by developing strong observational techniques, learning to use tone effectively, and understanding how to handle colour with confidence.
Our painting classes are designed for students who wish to explore and develop their artistic skills through the use of acrylic and oil paints on canvas. The program provides a clear foundation while allowing space for creativity and personal expression.
